HAZEL EYES
In that winter, I saw her for the first time. She was in the coffee shop with her girlfriends, and I was looking at her from the building across the coffee shop. She was talking about something funny with her friends than they laughed just a moment.
My eyes could
not move from her face and she realized that someone watched over her, but she
did not know it was me. When her hazel eyes looked at me unconsciously, I felt
something wrong in my heart. “Dug…Dug…Dug…” it sounded like that. Yeah, I could
hear it. You know? That sound. Oh my God, her hazel eyes made me frozen. I
could not think anything else except her eyes.
I was still
looking at her until she went out from the coffee shop. She was walking across
the coffee shop and went toward my place. My heart was beating and I tried to
control it. She walked toward me, and I stood up from the chair, smiled, than
waved my hands to her. But she passed me. It looked like she did not see me.
Crap…
Yeah, she did
not see me. I realized that someone like me could not reach her. She was
beautiful and I was not handsome. She was rich woman, and I was poor. Ah, was
the social status so important? Yet, I would try my best to make her be mine. I
promised to myself. So, I stalked her everyday to know everything about her
–her address, favorite food and drink, hobby, habits, etc.
In the night,
I could not sleep. I was thinking about her hazel eyes. Those eyes made me fell
in love with her. I was in love like a crazy man. I wanted her eyes more than
people could think. I missed her hazel eyes so much, and this yearning tortured
me.
That Friday
night, I decided to go to her home. I had to see her eyes, before this yearning
killed me. I was standing up in front of her home, knocking at the front door,
and waiting for her to open it. I was impatient, so I knocked it again, but it
looked like nobody was at home.
I broke the
door, when it was opened I came in, looking for her. I found her at the second
floor. She was sleeping with her pink
pajama, smiled liked a sleeping beauty. The light of the moon touched her face
and it was shining. She was so beautiful in pink.
I touched her
blonde hair, her Barbie face, and her pink lips. My heart was beating so fast, I
was so nervous around her, until I did not realize that I switched on the lamp
in the table beside her bed. She woke up and found me in her room. When she
opened her eyes, I saw those hazel eyes. Those eyes made me mad. She was
screaming so loud and I was shocked. I tried to explain everything, but she did
not give me a chance. She was screaming louder and hit me with the lamp.
At the time I
saw her hazel eyes, I desired to make her eyes be mine. I loved her, I loved
her hazel eyes so much. I felt, I was going to die if I did not see her eyes. I
had to get them. Yeah, that was the only way to make me normal, even if I had
to kill her.
So, I took
out the pocket knife that I always bring everywhere, and I stabbed her belly.
She held her belly and her blood flew through her tiny hand. She looked at me
with the pain in her hazel eyes. She fell, her body laid on the floor and she
groaned like a dying woman. I knew that
she was dying.
“I love you.”
I hug her while whispering in her ear. “Please, tell me that you love me too.”
I forced her, but she did not answer. “I want you to be my girl. Just say yes.”
I whispered again. She did not answer again. “Okay, just nod if you cannot
answer.” But she did not nod.
I was giving
up. Okay then, I just had to smile to her for the first and the last time. Finally,
her hazel eyes took out her tear, that she closed her eyes forever. She died.
But I was happy because finally she had seen my face before she died, and I
could make her hazel eyes be mine. “Good bye, dear. Your hazel eyes will stay
with me until the rest of my life. I promise, I will take care of them.” I said
to her sincerely.
I put her
dead body in the bed, then I took her eyes and put them in my Pandora box. No
one could take them from me. At that time I felt normal for the first time in
my life. Yeah, I felt so perfect.
